A month long pop-up in celebration of queers in Football

About the project:
This June (2025), ahead of the UEFA European Women’s Football Championship, The Queer agenda acquired a space in De Hallen in Amsterdam-West, in which to launch a month-long pop-up. For this, The Queer agenda has come up with the concept of creating The Queer Football Club (T.Q.F.C) Clubhouse where our community can gather and get excited for the upcoming tournament. The space will serve as an open-doors social hub for queer football fans and other local community members and will be used to host curated events (think: speed dating or a clothes swap consisting of all the clothes you shared with your ex), screenings (bend it like Beckham (but gayer?, anyone?)), and a pop-up shop platforming queer makers and creatives. Alongside the pop up shop, The Queer agenda will also be exhibiting a series of portraits photographs of FLINTA+ in football, by us, along the central passage of De Hallen.
